Cape Ommaney lodge sits nestled in the small fishing community of Port Alexander on the southern tip of Baranof Island in South East Alaska. Port Alexander was founded by the troll fleet during the heyday of the Columbia River King Salmon run and and became a permanent location for the fishermen. Some homesteaded and stayed.There are no roads, just boardwalks in the small community and it can only be reached by floatplane or boat.
